Abstract:
In this paper, piecewise-linear approximations of nonlinear cellular growth using orthonormal canonical piecewise linear functions are developed. The approximation method is presented and validated with good results. Future directions to hybrid control using this approximation are introduced. Copyright © 2007 IFAC.
