Abstract:
This paper studies the design of two-degree-of-freedom controllers for systems with bounded signals by application of the separation principle and the $l_{1}$ theory for the design of the prefilter. It is argued that this gives a natural approach to this problem for discrete time systems with commands bounded in slope. A specific design strategy is proposed and illustrated. Copyright © 2007 IFAC.
