Abstract:
A method for synthesizing dynamic output feedback controllers for discrete time systems presenting actuators constrained in amplitude, rate and acceleration is here proposed. The considered controller structure, composed by two saturating integrator blocks connected to a linear compensator output, ensures that the signal delivered to the actuator input is inside all its bounds. Anti-windup loops in the controller add degrees of freedom to the design and improve performance. Sufficient LMI conditions for such stabilizing controller are derived and exemplified.
